Susan Klabak’s pastel painting. Evening
Sky, has been selected for the permanent collection at University
of Wisconsin Madison’s Lowell Hall. The art work was selected
for purchase through the Percent for Art Direct Purchase Program.
J.J. Joyce received the Second Place Award in
the 6th Biennial National Art Exhibition in historic Punta Gorda,
Florida J.J. is also displaying 28 limited edition photography
prints in the US Bank in Bayside located at 500 E. Brown Deer Rd,
and has also been accepted in the Photography: Exhibition of Visual
Images at the Anderson Art Museum, Kenosha Wisconsin.
Chris Style and Danica Oudeans-Coale, from the
NE chapter will have work in the “Women with Attitude’
exhibit at the Central Wisconsin Cultural Center in Wisconsin Rapids.

Sally Berner has been invited to exhibit in the 48th Annual Exhibition
of the Society of Animal Artists. She wil also be presenting a demonstration
at an event put on by the Society of Animal Artists which will be
held at Bjorklunden Aug. 24-29th. in Door County. Details on this

Ginger Frederick won a merit award for her painting
at the Plymoth Art Center.
George Ronsholdt received a purchase award for
a work exhibited in Watercolor Wisconsin. The purchased work wil
become part of the permanent collection at the RAM.
Don Hunt and Nancy Cox’s exhibit New Directions
will be on view at the crossroads Coffiehous in Cross Plains until
May 2nd.
Katherine Steichen Rosing and Couzi Ohsono’s
work will be on view at Arc Gallery in Chicago (www.arcgallery.org
) until May 3. Couzi is a member of Japan on the Road, WP&S’s
sister organization in Japan.
Ali Beyer will receive her MFA in Interdisciplinary
Arts & Media from Columbia College-Chicago in May. Her thesis
project “With A Little Bit of Luck” was shown in Chicago
and at Edgewood College in Madison, WI in April. Beyer has continued
to work as a Preparator (preparing art for exhibition and installation)
She works at a variety of museums in Chicago (including the MCA)
doing this type of work as well as assisting artists with special
projects and exhibitions.
Marie App and Carolyn Rosenberger were in the
Midwest Winter show at the CVA in Wausau.
